On March 10th, members of The Adeona Foundation and "Peace Movers" from Dance 4 Peace took part in "Groove & Give Back" at PS 14 in the Bronx. Team Adeona was proud to present Dance4Peace with a donation of $20,000 to help seed the conflict resolution program in New York City schools for more than three years! The funds raised from the 5th Annual Cowboys & Indians Halloween Hoe Down will help thousands of NYC children learn empathy, understanding and conflict resolution, through the medium of dance.

Want to get a firsthand look at what the funds from the event will be supporting? Joins us and Dance4Peace for an afternoon of conflict resolution, dance and good friends, all while supporting an amazing organization. We will be visiting with kids from P.S. 14, advocating Emotional Awareness, Active Communication & Dialogue, Diversity & Cooperation, and Anger Management & Mediation – using dance as an educational tool. Please join us, because we can't cut a rug by ourselves!

Get in the Holiday spirit!
Happy Holidays and get ready for some holiday cheer! On December 15th the Adeona Foundation is back at it again and will be headed to the Bronx Supreme Court House to team up with New York’s Children’s Aid Society. Adoption and foster care continues to be one of CAS’s highest priorities and Adeona’s gift is, simply, a token of our appreciation. With roughly 200 kids in attendance it should be a packed house so we will need as many of Santa’s helpers as we can get. From arts and crafts to holiday face painting it is going to be a blast. If you are looking for a great experience with CAS, the Adeona Foundation, and of course Mr. and Mrs. Claus please come out and join us on the 15th!

August 8, 2011:
On August 3, 2011 members of the Adeona Foundation and their supporters presented The Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School with a $25,000 donation to seed their year long after-school program. The presentation was done at the End of Summer Celebration for the program, and along with it there was presentations from the students, and some fantastic renditions of hit songs as sung by the K-3rd grade students!

Please join us for an Adeona Foundation sponsored "Field Day" with the Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School. Join k-3 students for an afternoon of sports and games in the gym and on the playground! Food and drinks will be provided by The Adeona Foundation, so ask the boss to skip out 10 mins early and give back while enjoying yourself!
