Team Adeona Lacrosse finished another great summer season, playing in both the Gotham League and War at the Shore Tournament. The outcomes of some games may not have been ideal, but it definately helped spread the word about Adeona. Thanks to all our players and supporters.

Lend a hand...
Announcing the first ever Adeona Foundation Service Day & Picnic! Please join us this fall and take part in an opportunity to get hands on with one of the many organizations you have helped support through your generous contributions. We'll be assisting the New York Harbor School, as they settle into their new building on Governor's Island. The Service Day will be followed by a picnic where we invite you to relax and take in the beautiful view of the Manhattan Skyline.

Congrats to Team Adeona at the Mardi Gras Lacrosse tournement. This was the third time in as many years Team Adeona played in the championship game, falling this year to a powerful Crease Monkeys team. Best of luck in the next tournament.

Happy Holidays from The Adeona Foundation!
On Saturday December 12th, a handful of cheery Adeona Foundation founders and supporters headed to The Goodhue Center, on Staten Island to celebrate the season at the Children's Aid Society's annual Holiday Party. The event was great fun for everyone involved, including sports, food, dancing, a magic act and a visit from the one and only Santa Claus. With the gift of $10,000 from The Adeona Foundation, as well as the dedication of case workers from the CAS, each of 150 foster children received a personalized gift that was on his or her wish list. The Adeona Foundation would like to thank our friends at the Children's Aid Society, for allowing us to be involved in such a fantastic event, and the Goodhue Center for their hard work and hospitality.

Join us to spread some Holiday Cheer!
The Adeona Foundation will be sponsoring the Children's Aid Society to support the Staten Island Foster Care Holiday Party this Saturday December 12th. This festive holiday gathering will bring together more than 150 foster children for a day full of gifts and holiday cheer. Funding from The Adeona Foundation will allow The Children's Aid Society to purchase individual gifts for every child with the hope to make their holiday season a great one.

Congratulations to our Inaugural NYC Marathon Team!
We are pleased to announce this years marathon team raised over $8,000, which will be used to fund athletic teams and after school programs throughout New York City.
The Adeona Foundation would also like to wish a heartfelt thank you to our inaugural team members Chris McCann and Nick Rowland. Without their sacrifice and hardwork, our first ever marathon team wouldn’t have been the great success it was.
Both runners put up enormously impressive times, Chris finishing in a blazing 3:33 and Nick, suffering through a difficult knee injury and still posting 4:18. Congrats to all runners of the NYC marathon, and we hope to see you next year.

The Adeona Foundation is thrilled to announce the inaugural Team Adeona NYC Marathon Fundraising Team consisting of two loyal Adeona supporters, Chris McCann and Nick Rowland. After obtaining entrance to the marathon through their own efforts, both team members made the selfless decision to fundraise for The Adeona Foundation. We thank them for this dedication to the Foundation, are extremely grateful for their efforts and long hours, and look forward to supporting them before and especially on race day!

Adeona Foundation Co-Founder Chris Quick appeared on the nationally syndicated morning show Fox and Friends to help promote the Cooke Center’s first ever Summer Soiree held at the Tribeca Rooftop. Last fall The Adeona Foundation raised $10,000 for the Cooke Center through its fall benefit, and that fundraiser served as the inspiration for the Cooke Center to host their own event for young professionals.
