Get in the Holiday spirit!
Happy Holidays and get ready for some holiday cheer! On December 15th the Adeona Foundation is back at it again and will be headed to the Bronx Supreme Court House to team up with New York’s Children’s Aid Society. Adoption and foster care continues to be one of CAS’s highest priorities and Adeona’s gift is, simply, a token of our appreciation. With roughly 200 kids in attendance it should be a packed house so we will need as many of Santa’s helpers as we can get. From arts and crafts to holiday face painting it is going to be a blast. If you are looking for a great experience with CAS, the Adeona Foundation, and of course Mr. and Mrs. Claus please come out and join us on the 15th!

August 8, 2011:
On August 3, 2011 members of the Adeona Foundation and their supporters presented The Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School with a $25,000 donation to seed their year long after-school program. The presentation was done at the End of Summer Celebration for the program, and along with it there was presentations from the students, and some fantastic renditions of hit songs as sung by the K-3rd grade students!

Get outside!
Please join us for an Adeona Foundation sponsored "Field Day" with the Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School. Join k-3 students for an afternoon of sports and games in the gym and on the playground! Food and drinks will be provided by The Adeona Foundation, so ask the boss to skip out 10 mins early and give back while enjoying yourself!

November 10, 2010:
On November 8th, 2010 members of The Adeona Foundation presented The Facing History School with a donation of $40,000 to help with expenses related to the college tuition as well as the application process. Historically the Facing History School has ranked amongst some of NYC's best performing public schools, but many of their graduates still are unable to meet the financial demands of college tuition. The funds raised at the 4th Annual Cowboys & Indians Halloween Hoe Down are intended to help ease the burden and make sure more of these hard working students continue to better their futures in college.

On Saturday September 25th, The Adeona Foundation hosted our first ever Service Day at the New York Harbor School on Governors Island. It was a terrific day, enjoying some of the best weather of the season, all for the benefit of an inspiring school making history in New York Harbor. The Adeona Foundation would like to thank our friends at the NYHS, for allowing us to be involved in such a fantastic event as well as our amazing volunteers and supporters!

The New York Harbor School, recepient of proceeds from The 2010 White Party fundraiser, was recently profiled in a documentary produced by the City of New York. We couldn't be prouder of the team at NYHS and what they have accomplished! We're very excited for our first ever Service Day on September 25th, and are happy to be a part of the New York Harbor School making history on Governor's Island.

Happy Holidays from The Adeona Foundation!
On Saturday December 12th, a handful of cheery Adeona Foundation founders and supporters headed to The Goodhue Center, on Staten Island to celebrate the season at the Children's Aid Society's annual Holiday Party. The event was great fun for everyone involved, including sports, food, dancing, a magic act and a visit from the one and only Santa Claus. With the gift of $10,000 from The Adeona Foundation, as well as the dedication of case workers from the CAS, each of 150 foster children received a personalized gift that was on his or her wish list. The Adeona Foundation would like to thank our friends at the Children's Aid Society, for allowing us to be involved in such a fantastic event, and the Goodhue Center for their hard work and hospitality.
